Marvel Studios: Black Panther Killmonger Suit
My main project for Black Panther was creating a comprehensive 3D model of Eric Killmonger's version of the Panther suit. It's based on concepts by Josh Nizzi and art directed by Ryan Meinerding. It was a TON of fun creating this piece, and so happy with both the final results and the reception by the fans! This was the final approved model of the Killmonger suit chosen by director Ryan Coogler. He wanted us to bump up the leopard pattern and gold patterning. It really made it pop!!! Love it!
This was an alternate gold layout for the Killmonger suit's helmet.
This was the original pass on the Killmonger suit. At this point, director Ryan Coogler requested a more prominent leopard pattern and additional gold patterning on the helmet. This looked cool, but his revisions really made it the best it could be!
